Oh good, I'm not the only one. I was going to just say the second since it has a stormtrooper but then again since I have no clue at all about the first, maybe it should win.

What do these mean?!

I say two! One I know... but I can't read a word coming from the cat's mouth as it uses the black and white litterbox.

The first one. Star Wars is still relevant, while Yakov Smirnoff humor is not.

Though while checking his name spelling on Wikipedia, I noted that he's responsible for some of the patriotic art post-9/11... Apparently in Soviet Russia art paints you... or something...

#1 references two separate memes, but the reference to bucketseal is not immediately obvious, and bucketseal and soviet russia are separated by a long period (decades in internet years) so you would have to be quite old-school or appreciate history to get it. It is not, though, particularly geeky.

#2 only references one internet meme and in a fairly obvious way - and lolcats are mainstream now too - but involves Star Wars writing and thus wins massively on geek points. That's hardcore.
